Privacy Policy

Walletto2 P

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Veaceslav Cartera (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Walletto2 P application (the “Application”), available on iOS and Android. Walletto2 P is operated by Veaceslav Cartera, based in the Republic of Moldova.

Walletto2 P is a device-only application: it is designed so that your financial data is created, stored, and processed exclusively on your own device. This policy is therefore short — not because we say little, but because there is very little to say. We built the Application so that we never come into possession of your financial data at all.

2. The Short Version

3. Information We Collect

We collect no personal information through the Application, and your financial data is never transmitted to us. Specifically:

The Application makes only two kinds of network request, and neither one carries your financial data:

4. Anonymous Usage Statistics and Crash Reports

To keep the Application reliable and to improve it, the Application may collect and transmit a minimal amount of anonymous technical data about the Application’s own functioning. This is controlled by a single setting, “Anonymous usage statistics”, in Settings › Privacy. It is on by default and you may switch it off at any time.

What is sent while it is on

What identifies the sender

Each report carries a random identifier that the Application generates for itself on your device and stores there. It is not derived from your hardware, your phone number, your advertising identifier, or any account, and it is not shared with any other application. It tells us only that two reports came from the same installation. Uninstalling the Application ends that identifier permanently. Alongside it we receive the device model, brand, and platform, the Application’s version, and the language the Application is displayed in — and, as with any request sent over the internet, the IP address the request arrived from, which our server records with the report.

The setting is stored on each device separately and is never written into your Package. Switching it off on your phone does not change it in the browser version, and exporting or importing a Package never changes it or carries it anywhere.

What is never sent

This data never includes your financial data, the contents of your vault or your Packages, your passwords, your attachments, or anything you export. It contains no name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or any other direct identifier — it is anonymous, and we could not tie it to you personally even if we wished to.

How it is used

It is used for one purpose only: diagnosing problems and improving the Application. It is not shared with, sold to, rented to, or sent to any third party, and it is not used for advertising, profiling, or any form of tracking. No third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting service is embedded in the Application; the reports go to our own server and nowhere else. Aggregated, anonymous statistics derived from this data may be retained for as long as they are useful for improving the Application.

Turning it off

Switch “Anonymous usage statistics” off in Settings › Privacy. From that moment the Application sends us no usage signals and no crash reports of any kind, and any report still waiting on the device to be sent is discarded rather than held. The only request that continues is the exchange-rate lookup described in Section 3, which carries no identifier and nothing about you.

5. Where Your Data Lives

All Application data is stored locally on your device, inside the Application’s private storage area, protected by your device’s operating-system safeguards (such as sandboxing and device encryption). The Application also offers an optional app lock that uses your device’s biometric or passcode authentication; this authentication is performed entirely by your operating system, and no biometric data is ever accessible to the Application or to us.

When you export your data, the Application produces an encrypted backup package (a “Package”) protected by a password that you choose. Packages are encrypted on your device using strong, industry-standard encryption (AES-256), with the encryption key derived from your password. Your password is never stored, transmitted, or known to us.

6. You Own Your Data — and You Are Responsible for It

You are the sole owner of the data you enter into the Application, and — because no copy of it ever reaches us — you are also its sole custodian. This has consequences worth stating plainly:

7. Passwords and the Limits of Encryption

The confidentiality of an exported Package depends entirely on the password you choose. The encryption itself is strong, but it can only be as strong as the password that drives it. If you choose a weak, short, or reused password, a person who obtains the Package file may be able to guess the password and read its contents. We cannot guarantee the privacy of a Package beyond the protection your password provides.

If you forget a Package password, the data inside that Package cannot be recovered — by you, by us, or by anyone else. There is no reset, no recovery mechanism, and no backdoor. Because encryption happens entirely on your device and we never see or store your password, recovery is not merely something we decline to do — it is technically impossible. The loss is permanent.

8. Storage Locations You Choose

You decide where your Packages are kept — on your device, on external media, or with a third-party service such as iCloud, Google Drive, or another storage provider. Any third-party storage you use is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy; we have no relationship with, access to, or control over such services. If you lose access to a storage location — for example, through a closed account, revoked credentials, an expired subscription, or a failed drive — we cannot help you retrieve the Packages stored there, and we accept no responsibility for such loss of access.

9. Purchases

Walletto2 P is a paid application purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Your payment is processed entirely by the respective store under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details, billing address, or any other personal information from your purchase; at most, the stores provide us with aggregated, anonymized sales statistics.

10. Support Correspondence

If you choose to contact us for support, we will receive the information you send us (such as your email address and the content of your message) and will use it solely to respond to you. The Application cannot attach or transmit your financial data automatically; anything you share with us, you share deliberately and by your own action.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Application collects no personal data from any user, including children. Because there is no account and no collection of personal information, no personal information about a child (or anyone else) can reach us through the Application.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this document and publish the updated version at this address. Because the Application has no accounts and no messaging channel, material changes will also be noted in the Application’s release notes. Your continued use of the Application after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
